The Brief
Belfast Tea Co., a heritage-inspired local brand celebrating Belfast’s long tea-drinking tradition, approached ESL Studio to create a bold, retail-ready pack for their 80-bag premium Ceylon tea range. They needed a design that honoured their historic roots, delivered strong shelf presence and provided a practical, durable carton suitable for automated or manual co-packing.
Our Approach
We developed a packaging solution that combines strong brand storytelling with high-quality production. The artwork and structure were created to:
• Bring Belfast’s character to life through confident colour blocking, local phrases and distinctive typography.

Once the design and structure were approved, ESL Studio managed the full production workflow — printing, finishing and co-packing all 80 foil-wrapped tea bags directly into the custom carton.

The yellow-and-crimson palette delivers instant recognition, while the refined artwork elevates the brand into a premium retail space. The finished carton is strong, stackable and optimised for both display and shipping.
